De Havilland DH.88 Comet

The ‘Comet’ was a twin-engined British aircraft that won the 1934 MacRobertson Air Race, a challenge for which it was specifically designed.

It set many aviation records during the race!

The 11,000 miles flight took 70 hrs 55mins and the time has not been beaten to this day!!

This ‘Art Deco’ styled model has been cast in high quality Aluminium.

Polished to a quality deep lustre and treated to prevent tarnishing!

A truly iconic piece to commemorate this aircraft records!

It’s wingspan is approx. 320mm (13″) fuselage 280mm (11″) long and stands 230mm (9″) high

It comes either mounted on its own display stand, or on our 300mm (12″) cast and polished Aluminium World Globe – Desk Mount.

Price: $250.00 AUD – Display Stand / $650.00 AUD – Aluminium World Globe, Desk Mount
